The platform is built around a simple cycle:

1. Test

Take IELTS-style practice in Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking.

2. Identify

Look at your results and feedback to find the areas that need the most attention.

3. Practise

Focus on the skills, question types, vocabulary and language areas you need to develop.

4. Learn

Use the platform's resources to build vocabulary, improve your writing and develop effective IELTS strategies.

5. Retest

Take another practice test and see how your performance compares with your earlier results.

6. Track

Use your student dashboard to keep a record of your practice and work towards your target band.

๐Ÿ“š The four IELTS skills

IELTS assesses four skills: Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking. In IELTS Academic, Listening takes approximately 30 minutes, Reading 60 minutes, Writing 60 minutes and Speaking 11โ€“14 minutes. ๎ˆ€cite๎ˆ‚turn0search0๎ˆ

๐ŸŽง Listening

Practise four-part IELTS-style listening tests. The official Listening test has 40 questions, and each recording is played once. A range of question types is used, including multiple choice, matching and completion tasks. ๎ˆ€cite๎ˆ‚turn0search4๎ˆ‚turn0search2๎ˆ

๐Ÿ“– Reading

Practise Academic Reading with three passages and 40 questions. The official test lasts 60 minutes and uses a variety of question types. ๎ˆ€cite๎ˆ‚turn0search2๎ˆ

โœ๏ธ Writing

Practise both Academic Writing tasks. Task 1 requires at least 150 words, while Task 2 requires at least 250 words. Both tasks are assessed using four key criteria, with Task 2 carrying twice the weight of Task 1. ๎ˆ€cite๎ˆ‚turn0search6๎ˆ

๐ŸŽค Speaking

Practise all three parts of the Speaking test: the introduction and interview, the individual long turn and the discussion. This platform is designed for IELTS preparation and practice. It is not an official IELTS test, and any scores produced by the platform are practice estimates rather than official IELTS results.

The official IELTS test is delivered and assessed by authorised IELTS organisations. Use this platform to prepare, practise, identify areas for improvement and monitor your progress.
